I am surprised they didn’t test this, after all, Apple gives developers access to upcoming versions many weeks in advance just so they can start to test their apps with said version and to implement any changes or fixes. The same applies to Flicktype, apparently the developer said he was waiting for iOS 13 to come out so he had a Stabil platform for testing, but to me that is a pretty pure excuse, any developer had access to iOS 13 for over 3 months now.
