Yes, put Screen Recording in the Control Center in Settings, if it is not already there. Bring up the Control Center and find Screen recording and flick up with one finger to more and double tap. This is if you want to also record with the microphone maybe your commentary of what is different? Anyway, if you flick right to use Microphone and double tap then flick back left to start recording you will not only get VoiceOver speech, but you can also record your comments. Of course, once you start the recording you will want to go back to your app so there will be some excess stuff in the recording. Once you are done, there will be an icon in the upper left to get back to the screen recording where you can stop it. Screen recordings show up in photos as a video. You should then be able to share that with the developers.

Hi all, An app I use to control my music server has over the last year become increasingly inaccessable. For example the labels associated with buttons seem to have collapsed to a single letter (and not necessarily the first letter of the word label). Am I correct in thinking that if I take a screen shot it will only show exactly what a sighted person would see and not what Voiceover is speaking? If so does anyone know a way of taking a screen shot or something which will enable a software developer to "see" what Voiceover is seeing/producing to the blind user. Is there perhaps some diagnostic tool that could be used to get a dump of voiceovers speech buffer? Whilst I could or may have to, write down each issue and explain in detail to the software developer what is happening a dump of Voiceovers output would be a far more elegant and direct diagnostic tool. Thanks in anticipation Gary -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
