Simon, The recording of VoiceOver and the screen works extremely well. If you want to be able to provide a live commentary while doing the recording, turning on the Microphone before starting also works extremely well. Of course, you want to try to not talk while VoiceOver is talking, unless you want to give the person watching it a bit of a challenge to focus on your voice or VoiceOver's, grin. I think the recording is even better now in 14.3. You can even have it recording while using an app that self voices and it picks up the app voice clearly because it is recording internally rather than using the microphone for that. Try it for yourself.
