While I agree that the loss of FlickType is not the end of the world, it’s going to dramatically impact how I use my iPhone. I much prefer typing my own content as opposed to dictating it and FlickType has made it very easy to compose text messages and emails with my iPhone’s screen fairly quickly without the need for another keyboard. Just out of curiosity, how much do you use FlickType for input on your iDevice? I will certainly adapt to the loss of FlickType but my speed and accuracy of input is going to take a big hit. I did write an email to Phil Schiller expressing my concerns but realistically, I’m not holding my breath that it will make any difference. I do believe that users are responsible for providing feedback when an app’s accessibility is broken or an accessible app is totally withdrawn as in this case due to some dispute with the App Store. I’ll continually encourage those in our community to provide this feedback because sometimes, the squeaky wheel does get the grease. After all, thousands of people complaining about CSAM hasn't, and thousands complaining about fortnight hasn't either. If it does, though, that's great. But if not, prepare to vote with your money.
