Hi, The version that came out on friday is pretty responsive on my second generation SE and does provide braille if Braille Alert Time is high enough. I have it set to 3 seconds, which is long enough to show the words and clues, but you can make it longer if necessary. I like it that the focus stays in the letters when I add a title or complete a word. If I were using it without speech, I would have to press Space with N to review recent VoiceOver messages, which would be annoying, but the game is definitely playable with speech and supplemental braille.
