Curtis,

I got the new SE a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. I chose it
because I'm not ready to give up the home button just yet. The home button
does have a different feel. When you put your finger on the screen, you feel a
round spot at the bottom of the screen, which feels like you would expect the
home button to feel, however They say it isn't an actual button. When you put
pressure on it, it doesn't move, but you do feel the response of the phone as a
single vibration in the phone itself, rather than under your finger. , The
intensity of the response is adjustable in the Settings menu.

You can tell your friend that it does handle fingerprints just like the older
phones.

I hear it has a home button, my friend will get his tomorrow, should I
tell him it handles finger prints like the older models do? In many ways
I still wish I had a home button. I believe it a serious error of Apple
not to include home buttons in their later models of the iPhone. I
contend it makes it harder to use, not easier; every try and hear that
little sound or feel it while any background noise is happening? Or, can
you enter the home button via voice command instead of that back press
work around action?
