Hi, I tried what you said but, there is just one thing. this only works if the mail app is open and in the foreground. I mean, if this is the case, it really doesn't matter much in my opinion. If your in the mail app all ready, its just a 2nd to see who sent the new mail. I thought you meant the alert would replace the default tri-tone that occurs when a mail message comes in when the mail app is closed or, your phone is locked.
