Since the app uses crowd sourcing at least in part to provide responses, there likely will be some answers that take longer anyway. I doubt that they would prioritize people who leave location services on, but of course it's possible.
I wouldn't worry too much about leaving location services on from a security standpoint. The data is likely anonymized and used for purposes like analytics. I just tend to turn location services off where there is no tangible benefit to the user, and in the case of Tap Tap See I don't believe there is.
