Yes, it popped up about the last month of the regular season. There were one or two threads about it at that time. Like I said, I got around the audio being dropped by first going to the app switcher and then from there, I could do whatever else I wanted including going back into the @Bat app itself. That's at least my recollection of it since it's been a few months since I've had to do it.
In my case at least, I experienced it on both my4S and iPad2. I think I may have an old MLB support email acknowledging this bug.
