I find that if you swipe across the screen and it hasn't found something it says something like no results or nothing to display, I wish there was a way of changing the voice, sometimes I miss what he says, it's so quick and I don't seem to get to really get it happen again. This is vidio mode. I feel I found the camera mode pretty useless. I too like the idea of video mode like everyone else. I think lighting is very important and I will try using the light detector app two. This is probably the best app Of its type I downloaded TTS as well this morning which I had not investigated before so I shall try them both out equally. I have found that scanning some text is quite good but not all the time. I will definitely keep persisting with this. The more acts like this we have the better! A couple of questions: does it matter if you have the screen curtain on? I am presuming not as I have got pretty similar results, but I wanted to know peoples thoughts. Also, has anybody tried the different orientations such as landscape or portrait, does it make a difference which way you hold the phone? I have automatically been doing it in portrait, but a lot of the scanning apps for example are landscape, is it therefore better if its in landscape?
