Right now, it's a little complicated to enter a street address, but in the version awaiting Apple's approval, it's easier.
You need to get to the Settings screen. Within the app, after you've started a search, touch the help button in the top right. It will display help, and two buttons. One is continue and the other is settings. Touch settings and you can change to a manually entered address instead of using GPS. In the next version, there is a Settings button on the first screen.
