In the past, if I try three pictures for one item and get no results, I move on, I probably have not used the app 100 times in the past 10 months, that said, the reason I don't use it a lot as unlike many of you, my results have been pretty spotty, but then I have that problem with all camera apps, can't even take my own picture and get it right which is probably why I would buy the 100 pictures at least for now, if I use them in a month and have to buy more, it is still less expensive than the monthly charge, and if it takes me 10 months to use up my 100 then, well I come out the winner on that deal, will it keep me from experimenting when I have need or time, probably not, but then again, depending where I am in the cycle I may be deciding if the info I want is truly necessary.
I have not actually opened the app since July when I was trying to read the LED display on the ice machine, that did not work but I was not at all surprised by that result either. Successful pictures would be a great idea but who determines what is a success, I may get enough to help me determine what the bottle or jar is but someone else may want a lot more so, I will take no more than five pictures of any object then do something else. What I do like is regardless of cost, it is one more tool I can try to use when I need it. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Carol Pearson Sent: Thursday, November 07, 2013 11:56 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Tap TapSee Yes, I too would have a lot of bad pictures. I think I shall have to refrain from paying as I don't use the app often, but I will think some more on this. I realise they do need to pay their employees, but we can't necessarily afford to do this.. What about those who want to try the app for the first time? Are they going to be forced into paying before they've even tried? The problem is that I have to take several pictures before I get a working result so I would go through 100 pictures pretty quickly. $9.99 per month is more than the Seeing Eye app, and I had to think really hard before making that purchase. > On 11/7/13, Blind Treasures <blindtreasu...@comcast.net> wrote: > Has anyone else noticed that now when you go to use TapTapSee, you get > a message stating you need to purchase credits to use their app?
