When I was running iOS 6, occasionally my Bluetooth earpiece would go into a
funny high-pitched whiny whistle when making or receiving a phone call. There
was something wrong with the Bluetooth drivers which created this intermittent
problem. In fact, I acquired two different earpieces trying to mitigate the
issue.

Ever since I upgraded to iOS 7, I have not had any problems with my Bluetooth
earpieces. In fact, I finally recharged my original earpiece, the one that had
the worst problem, and started using it four days ago. I find it so much more
comfortable than either of the other units, though the sound is not so good for
the person on the other end of the phone call when I use it. I have not had any
difficulties yet, and am now feeling confident that Apple has corrected this
Bluetooth driver issue in iOS 7.

And, VO responsiveness in all three of my bluetooth earpieces has dramatically
improved.
