Hi Christina,

At that time, I did the same with a short paragraph explaining how to turn
off the voice over and going to my iEmergency app for my information. In an
accident now, paramedics are trained to look for a cell phone. My
iEmergency has all my information like my doctor's phone number, contact
people in case of emergency, drug store phone number and even my blood type.

That was a good idea.

Subject: Re: For putting an emergency number icon on the home screen?

One time someone on this list posted a super great idea which I used on my
children's iPods. I went into notes and typed up some emergency info. Then I
took a screen shot by pressing the power button and home button at the same
time. I then used it as their wall paper. I thought this was great since the
kids have a pass code set up on their iPods in case they lose it or
something. I did have sighted assistance to make sure the picture on the
wall paper displayed the information correctly. So now, if someone were to
turn on the iPod they could see the wall paper with information I felt was
safe but not too private.
