This is the normal reaction prior to the release of a relatively expensive app. The same happened when the pricing for the Seeing Eye app was announced. I will reserve my judgement to a time when the app is available and one can either try it in some limited fashion or at least check out Podcasts and reviews from people who are not associated with the company. I use the tools which give me the best results and I don’t care whether they were made specifically for use by the blind or not and if this works awesomely well I’ll plunk down the $99 without too much regret. If not I use what I am using now, but I also won’t attack KNFB with accusations of gouging or whatever people usually come up with.
