In addition, there are plenty of people and sites in the blindness community that make available resources for free. The day of iOS 7 release last year, AppleVis had all sorts of blog posts and podcasts about the features of iOS 7. Those who wanted more or a different approach could have gotten Jonathan's book. I got his book last year but after reading the many blog posts and podcasts of what iOS 7 had, not to mention the many emails from this list, I found that I knew all I needed to use it effectively. I have decided not to get Jonathan's book this year because of that, but I know he will sell a lot of copies because not everyone learns in the same way.
