The $35 per iPhone quote was stated by Tim Cook at the April Shareholders meeting when "he responded to a challenge frome one of the large stockholders who said Apple should only focus on that which will be profitable for the company. Also, it includes all accessibility, not just VoiceOver. Finally, he suggested the stockholder sell their shares if they are so concerned as Apple will not change this policy.
