I did indeed set the default password on the server. I thought that the
default password is the one that clients use to connect to the server. I use
this password when I connect from my Windows 2000 client to the Windows NT
Server. I this case, I am asked for a password and I use the default
password that I set up when I installed the server. You have to set a
default password unless you specify that null passwords are OK, which I
don't want to do.

I think the problem is that the Windows 98 client isn't asking for a
password, so a null password is being passed.
