I don't know why you are having trouble grasping a simple basic fact as outlined in my previous post. It doesn't matter what happened to the steam. It could have been condensed in a heat exchanger cooled by mains water, for all the difference that makes to the case.

The pretend customer's plant did nothing, and no significant heat radiated from it. Therefore the COP was 1. Data from customer's pretend plant is irrefutable proof that Rossi lied and tried to defraud I.H., so it matters a great deal.
