Not exactly accurate. If the electron capture concept is correct, then only dissociation is necessary. Further reading on my part shows that dissociation can occur on metal surfaces. I think Horace wrote on this. I'm looking over his "stuff". Normally, we would have heard from Horace. I hope he is okay. T
