It looks like 60 degress C is when the reaction starts. Then the reactor takes over. Each feed pipe might have 3 bumps with only the first one heated electrically. Once the reaction starts, cascading bumps take it to a boil and multiple pipes gives him the volume he needs. It really could be that simple and safe with no possibility of criticality. Or not. T
