Rossi detected excess heat production when he was experimenting with CO2 and H reactions to catalyze CH4. The excess heat production was small but detectable.
IMHO. he added NiO nano-powder and pulsed power glow discharge of graphite to optimize H- cluster production and to increase heat generation.
