A neo LET perspective would be the electron is tethered electrically to the 
nucleus and has it’s own micro gravity well orbiting inside the larger micro 
well of the nucleus like the sun earth arrangement but dependent upon the 
electrical tether as opposed to a gravitational one. In Neo LET an extra 
dimensional ether stream flows perpendicularly through our 3D, SR suggests this 
flow rate is related to relativistic effects of Lorentzian contraction and time 
dilation.  My posit of this screw like motion is based on the “background” 
level of ether flow in space empty of matter versus a space with a single h1 
like atom. I suggest that all physical motion and measure of time depends on 
this interaction of ether flow with matter where the nucleus accumulates the 
most opposition to this flow, pulling the electron [which has less opposition 
to said flow] down the nucleus’ micro well where it’s own normal motion as a 
free electron is modified by this tether forcing the electron’s escape path 
into a never ending spiral above the nucleus on the ether axis but which 
appears to surround the nucleus from our 3D perspective. Could your “slight” 
spiral be due to  the electrons velocity inside this “slightly” curved space of 
the nucleus’ well?

That's I problem I have also.  I have found that the angular velocity of the 
electron equals the speed of sound in the nucleus during quantum transition.  I 
am not really sure what the angular velocity of the electron is.  Its a weak 
point in my arguments.  I think it is somehow connected with magnetism but I 
cant qualify it.

No. I guess it depends on how you define "screw like". The Lissajous model at

it's simplest depends on an oscillation and a rotation, whereas a "screw like"

motion depends on two rotations for a closed form (creating a toroid), or one

rotation for an open form (i.e. straight line travel).

(A rotation may be seen as two perpendicular oscillations).

Even so, I still don't see how the screw like motion is used to derive the

electron speed, which can be calculated quite adequately without it.
