I think it is essential to talk about overall energy, not just power. After
all, a chemical explosion can destroy the equipment.

You have to say that the overall heat release often exceeds the limits of
chemistry in cells with no chemical changes. This is the single most
important fact discovered about cold fusion (so far) and the most
convincing evidence that it is anomalous, and probably nuclear.

Any description which leaves this out misses the whole point.
