Compressed data comes in at about 5.5KB/sec and text is about 9-12KB/sec
usually. Peecees are really crap at www stuff speedwise in my experience,
although Opera is supposed to be quite nippy. Netscape on this machine
(Fusion) seems to download at about have the speed of voyager.

A4000 CSPPC 060/50 604e/200, 64MB Fast, Pace 56k, HyperCOM Zorro board,
Genesis, Telephone==Telewest, ISP==Wirenet. I limit the connection to
50667 'cos when it connects at 52000 it always pauses the connection after
a couple of minutes for about 10secs, which is really irritating.
