I get them every 1-2 weeks.

Oddly enough, I have done this, and I've even checked -- it does cache
to  the  mini-partition  --  but  still, if it crashes while loading a
webpage,  it  invalidates  the  partition  V  is  in,  not  the  cache
partition.   I  don't  think  the  cache  partition  has  ever  become
invalidated, but the V partition becomes invalidated regularly.

And  I  doubt  it's any other program causing the invalidation -- it's
happened  often  enough  that I'm pretty sure I can say it's when V is
loading a page.
