I have read that, and I must say that I don't agree with all of it ;) I
purposefully refuse to pay attention to any site that goes out of
it's way to explain the flaws in anything, simply because the author
will go out of their way to prove their site's worth.

This isn't just anti-Microsoft. What's the URL of that "UI Hall of
Shame" site? A lot of that is pure, self-indulgent bollocks, written
to draw hits and stir contraversy, in a world where the average
GUI is actually well written.

I myself couldn't see any real problem with the Quicktime 4 GUI,
apart from the obvious dumbass features (it opens windows off
the screen, and displays the first frame of an anim in the preview
window: which is usually black) and certainly not the use of a
thumbwheel control.

After all, if Quicktime is wrong, MUI is wrong for using those
little volume controls. Is MUI wrong? I doubt ANYONE here would
agree, least of all the programmers :)

Okay, but since when has that been an outright no-arguments
anti-competitive practice? People do this all the time..

Anyway, off-topic, the end ;)

Thanks
