Adaptec is known for good cards, they've been making scsi cards for a long time. I've not had an oppertunity to play with BSD. How much of a difference lies between unix/linux and BSD? Well, I hope that some good luck befalls your Amiga stuff :-) Can't speak for everyone, but I'de love to see a new beta.
