I found when I upgraded to 10.3 that a lot of the keyboard shortcuts for Final Cut Pro 4 no longer worked even though the keyboard assignments in preferences were correctly set (using a g4 DP tower) - a colleague checked on a g5 at Curtin Uni video prod dept and it was the case on this also - haven't had time to try and sort out why
