Hi Bill,
There are plenty of websites where you can order self adhesive address
labels.
I got a roll of 500 on a dispenser about 2 months ago when I moved
house for about $13.00
You can even choose a design for them.

Hi All,
once again thanks to Ronda, Neil, Mervyn & Giuliana, for their
input ( always willing to help ) I shall be using apples Address
Book for printing my " address labels ", as for the " return
address" labels I have done those on my " MS word 2004 " ( much to
my disgust) I am amazed that Apples Address Book, whilst it does
almost everything relating to " mailing ", it does not have this
built into it. I certainly don't want to us "MS " by
choice .............................can anyone supply me with the
email address of the appropriate department at Apple, and I will
send it to them to see if they could consider putting it into
Address book !
Once again thank you for all your time & help

Hi Bill,
I don't know of a way to use the "Mailing Labels" function for
multiple copies of the same "return" address.
Another way you could have done this project is using the Envelopes
function Print.
NOTE:If you want to print envelopes, first make sure your printer
is configured to print them and then place envelopes in the printer.
1. Select all the Contacts you want to print "Envelopes" for. I
have a Group "Family", so I select the first contact in "Family",
then "Edit > Select All".
2. File > Print
3. In the Print Window that appears, select Style: "Envelopes"
Envelopes: Click Layout and choose the type of envelope you’re
using. If you’re using a special envelope, choose Define Custom and
specify the envelope dimensions.
Click Label and then specify whether to include your return address
and which address to use for it. Choose the type of address to
print for each contact from the Addresses pop-up menu (for example,
print a label for each contact’s home or work address, or both).
Use other Label options to choose the print order, a country (for
international mailings), and an image for the upper-left corner of
the envelopes. To choose the direction in which to feed the
envelopes into the printer, click Orientation.
Cheers,
Ronni

Hi all, ( Ronda )
it worked like a dream, all my selected multi addresses
folders printed out great, Except that yesterday evening I spent
all evening trying to print my " return" address , I could only
get it to print 1 (one) Avery L7651 on the sheet of labels, which
it did perfectly, when what I wanted was to be able to print say
20 or 30 of the "return" labels. I know I must be missing
something, I even created a new folder with just my "return"
address in , but it still only printed the one label. I just don't
see where it says anything about multiple print-outs of single
addresses . Hope that makes sense !
Printer is HP photosmart C6270 all in one. ( can't see it
being a problem with the printer. it printed all the others great).
Grateful for any help you can give me

Hi all,
Thanks to Rob,Neil, Eugene, & Ronda for all your useful
replies, they are all tucked away in my " Problem Solving file "
that I keep, the one that I will be using is what Ronda suggested
" Address Book v 5.0.1, " I've have used address book for years
and never knew you could do that with it.
One tends to do certain things with applications and so long
as they do that, you tend to overlook all the other things they
can do !
Once again Thank you for your help in this matter.

Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can suggest a good reliable " labels &
address " printing application that is compatible with my
system .
all I want to do is print a few label ( not for cd's )
occasionally , ( christmas time etc to save my wife the
laborious task of writing them)
I have done some searching, but most appear to be around the
$60 dollar mark, and for such a small usage I was looking for
something a little less expensive, but if there are none to
suit my needs then I will pay that.
Thanks

Hi Bill,
If you use Address Book v5.0.1 (which you would have in 10.6.2)
you can print "Mailing Labels"
1. Select all the Contacts you want to print "Mailing Labels"
for. I have a Group "Family", so I select the first contact in
"Family", then "Edit > Select All".
2. File > Print
3. In the Print Window that appears, select "Mailing Labels"
Layout - you have Avery Standard, Avery A4, DYMO (I have a Dymo
LabelWriter 320 so I select Dymo)
Works great using my Dymo so I'm sure it would work well with
Avery Papers.
Cheers,
Ronni
