Hi Susan, Ronni & Rod Thank you for your input. I did, I think, use Share-Send-iDVD and followed all the other steps through to Export but then could not work out what happened after that! Perhaps I should have done the burn from there rather than Finder.
iDVD certainly did not launch automatically as I had expected it would. I did want to try an audio track but when I went to Media and iTunes, rather than my playlists showing, it is all individual tracks which was not what I had in mind, given each one only goes for such a short time. For example I have an Edith Piaf playlist which I thought would be appropriate for the slides which are from photos of a cycling trip in France. So maybe I have to go direct to iTunes rather than use the Media button. I'll print out all the instructions provided and try again. Many thanks.
