Cheers to you, Ronni, your off the cuff problem solving tips are life and time savers for so many of us so many times. eBook Tutorials will be a REAL bonus.

Hello WAMUG people,

Firstly: A big thank you to the people who have given a donation for downloading "CREATING A SLIDESHOW IN iPHOTO 8 & OneStep DVD in iDVD 7", I appreciate it greatly. It takes time to do these articles, and time is hard to find ... plus time is money ;-)

The people who did donate have given me the incentive to keep doing some tutorials.

I have been working on another eBook Tutorial, HOW TO: "Create A Visually Impressive Saved Slideshow In iPhoto’09". iPhoto's Basic Slideshows are easy to create, but they have design limitations. For total control over a slideshow's presentation, you need to create a Saved Slideshow. In "Create A Visually Impressive Saved Slideshow In iPhoto’09" I explain how to create a saved slideshow and how to setup the slideshow settings & configure the Ken Burns effect.

I'm quite slow at creating these Tutorials / Help & eBooks, as I'm a hopeless two finger typist, I never learnt how to type, and now can never find the time to learn.

I hope to be able to find time to do more Tutorials, Help, & eBooks in the future. I just have to try and prioritise my time somehow.

Secondly: My Website will be offline for a while as I do some maintenance and upload the new tutorial.
I'll post to WAMUG Mailing list when it is operating again.

Thanks again and I hope you all found the Tutorial helpful.

Cheers,
Ronni

Hello WAMUG Members,

I've had a few people asking if I would do a "How To" showing how to create an 'Easy-Simple' Slideshow in iPhoto and output it to a DVD to view on a TV set.

I've created a 13 page PDF with screenshots showing how to create a simple iPhoto Slideshow and then how to create a OneStep DVD of the Slideshow in iDVD.

This is an easy way to be able to show clients (if you are a Professional Photographer), or family & friends, a DVD of photos you have taken for them. They can insert the DVD in a standard DVD player connected to a TV and it will immediately play for them to watch and enjoy.

You can of course create much more professional DVDs with great looking Themes and Menus & Customising in iDVD. I especially like, and use a lot, 'Revolution' Theme, 'Reflection White'Theme & 'Memories' Theme. Among projects I do, I have filmed a few Weddings, and edited them in iMovie HD ( trying to find time to learn Final Cut Express 4), and produced the DVDs in iDVD using the 'Wedding White Theme', with rolling credits at the end with every guest included in the credits. They have all turned out beautifully. I give copies of the DVD to the couple and their parents. They all love and cherish the DVD of their Weddings. I keep Disc Images of all the projects I do, so I am always able to burn another copy for people.

When I can find some time, I perhaps will do more 'How To' tutorials.

The PDF is named "CREATING A SLIDESHOW IN iPHOTO 8 & OneStep DVD in iDVD 7", and I have uploaded it to my website. I have Password Protected my website as last time with my "iPhone 3G S Settings Menu PDF" I had over 700+ downloads. So more than WAMUG Members were hitting on my site and downloading my work.

If anyone wishes to download the PDF ( 2.5MB ), please email me Off- List & I will supply you with Username & Password.

Cheers,
Ronni
