Thank you to all who replied so promptly. I had been tearing my hair out: "print" gave me extraneous material and links wand was not an accurate reproduction of the page; "PDF" gave the same result; "Grab" meant that the page wouldn't fit on an A4 page; but the winner was ..... Ronni. Command - Shift -4 meant I could capture exactly what I wanted including the menu bar, URL, and foot of page.
