Thank you everyone for the very helpful advice. We decided to go for the 4Gb memory and Snow Leopard. I took my courage in both hands and the screwdriver in one of them and put thenew memory in, hoping I wouldn't have to SOS you, Ray. Thank you very much for your offer. I still can't believe I was bold enough to do it, It was good to know you were in the next suburb.
We now have the 4GB.
