Oh lord, Jon, I'm so flattered you think I'm adept enough to even select a
version. Well, maybe I did in a sort of a way. At least I tried to make things
"legal" or commonly accepted. I used DW 3.0 which (one would hope) has selected
a version for the user although one would also hope they would *tell* the user
what they've done in this regards. I've never seen much reference to that issue.
Also, I use two reference books that I can understand that seem to be written by
people who actually know what they're doing.

I used the term "transitional" a lot to describe the HTML in my site. I've never
been able to figure out which version it is, though, or how to head in one
direction or another. I've checked the site on the Bobbie site. One of my
frustrations is my alt tags do not all show up, no matter how many times I put
them in. I do believe that hand coding's the best way to go although it seems
some sort of software that can crank out stuff is good for production mode. I've
never been able to get DW to show all my alt tags.

I do learn a lot from listening to you folks talk. Mostly, I've learned I'm not
going to be a hot-shot web developer. And I've seen, even on the year I've been
on this list, web development becoming more and more technical. I've seen the
future and it looks pretty programmy/engineery to me. I'm more of a
content/design person who likes to watch the professionals at work. My hat's off
to all of you, especially those of you who actually understand all the
conversations that happen around here. Nice bunch of people.
