Ubuntu 12.04, with a standard web2py install /apache/sqlite: Chromium /admin/default/design 2.51 sec (repeatable) Firefox - 2.47 (repeatable) (on load 4.7)
Summary: 2x as quick as Win7 / Rocket. Slower than expected but acceptable. Certainly more productive than Win7 which was becoming a pain. > > > --
