Not "obeying" the "subscribe-to-post" rule is something I actually see 
as a benefit for the Jive forums.  The forums know who I am and when I 
occasionally need to ask a question of a group who's list I'm not a 
regular subscriber too I use the Jive forum if there is one.

In my opinion the Jive forums can't be deleted until we get a mailman 
deployment that recognises all valid webapp accounts. Unless the list is 
explicitly marked as "subscribers only" (and there should be very few of 
those, except maybe code notification aliases), users should be aloud to 
post.
