AFAIK the official name is "Webware for Python", to disambiguate from other uses 
of the term "Webware" or "WebWare" on the internet.

I think for a lot of people, the fact that it's Python is important -- so I
wouldn't necessarily want to throw that away.  But I agree that a more
functional subtitle could be beneficial.

I'd say it's wide open until someone starts working on a site.  And even
after that it's not too late to change, you just have to deal with inertia. :)

Good question.  I don't know if Chuck considers himself to be the Webware
BDFL -- I'll let him speak to that.  :)  

My take on the situation is that most developers are very busy and don't
have huge amounts of time to invest in the project right now, but would
be very happy to see a new website.
