Tom, It's much appreciated you've spent the time to look into this, if there's nothing wrong with WeeWX - there's nothing wrong with WeeWX :) I'll ask Bob if he can have a gander at this. I have to admit though I find it a bit stranger using metric would be considered an unusual circumstances, it's what the rest of the world uses after all.
