Follow-up Comment #6, bug #3835 (project wesnoth):
As a FYI:
This (or some variant thereof) has been requested a number of times, usually
in the form of "hotkeys like ctrl-o should work in the main menu". The
reports have been closed as duplicates of this one. (On a cursory glance,
searching for "main", I found three, the most recent dated five days ago, see
bug #9856.)
As for implementation, a simple "TAB" to scroll through the buttons (somehow
highlighting each in turn) with "RET" to confirm the selection would be
sufficient, hopefully in addition to the most useful functions being covered
by a hotkey, as requested in the duplicates.
