Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Our task force members  have a very important task to work on without fear of
being blamed for any lack of accountability or failure to do the right thing.
The task was assigned to very meaningful Westnilers who are preparing for us to
present to the stakeholders and to the Head of State, how we want the offer of
a Public University for West Nile to begin.  The task force is still working on
it and we are not informed as to whether they have faced difficulties or not.

There is a feeling that they have taken too long, a time to report to the
stakeholders how far they have gone with their findings.  Without naming them
now, we all knew that they were very qualified group of people whom we depended
on, then and even in the near future.  They are very qualified senior
individuals we can pick a telephone  and call them for any clarification of an
issue whenever we feel like doing so for public good.

Sometimes matters like a Public University need confidentiality that is
necessary for a certain period, while the group is thinking various modalities
of preparing a sound objective.  However, for some reason, a new task force is
being planned to join the earlier one that has not yet reported their
findings.  It is a good thing, because we are serious and we want know how and
when we will begin the Public University in West Nile.  We are aware that the
earlier task force will understand why we are putting pressure on them.  They
are just volunteering, but working on very serious matters to be presented to
the Head of State.  It is fair to give them humble time to finish their work.

The second task force group of West Nilers will do the follow-up and assist to
have the work completed.  We are grateful to them to volunteer and complete the
work before being caught in the middle of our planning stage on the ground.
Should their be a need for a full-time paid Coordinator, the task force will
advise accordingly, as soon as possible.

Modesto.

Dear All,

While I am busy, I am willing to give whatever advise I can to the Task force.
With over 10 years in academia in three (3) Universities I will support them.

So please count me in.

Eng. Dr. Ajedra Gabriel G. Aridru

Dear Caleb, Bako, et all,

Thanks for the update. I am just wondering why the task force members for this
University not be engaged full time? At least the Chair - should eb able to
work full time, supported by a secretariat. If they are all busy on their
regular jobs and working on the university on a part-time basis - it might take
years, funds will be exhausted and then the whole idea dropped.

Bako, you indicated that you are handling the issue of possible sabotage
politically -- could you kindly indicate whether you are engaging other MPs
from the region?

I very much like the idea of a volunteer group to support the taskforce and
advocate for the fast tracking of the university.

Please don't limit the membership of the volunteer group to academia. Civil
society members should be part of the group including other educationists and
concerned people from WN.

I see Mr. Avinyia - former Principal of Muni NTC, Yosa Wawa, Caleb Alaka etc
being members of this volunteer group.

Charles
