To save on the server load. You could schedule a batch file to run every minute that would save a copy of the web page to a file and create a cached version of the page. That would keep a constant load on the server but it would be a managed load. I did this a while back when I wanted to let my staff see a page they didn't have access to and I didn't want to give them access to the system. There is a command line URL get program that works very well. 'CURL'
It would keep your load lower and your staff out of WUG. What impact does checking for NT Server Services or Critical ports on a Network device add to the poll? 2. How many concurrent web users are supported using the web server feature? I am in the process of modifying the look of the web page to make Network and Server Status available to the entire company. I have over 1000 people in the building. I am concerned that if significant numbers of people check the web at the same time it will impact the What's up polling cycle. Is there a way to limit the number of users hitting the web site at one time? John Russell Pacific Life Newport Beach, CA -----Original Message----- From: Murphy, Rod A.
