Yes you can create multiple shortcuts to explorer.exe to open the views in the 
ways you want. Just create a new
shortcut to Windows Explorer with any of the following commandlines of your 
choice below.
You can create explorer.exe shortcuts for these views:

explorer.exe /e,/root,C:\                opens explorer with the root C:\ 
expanded in dual folder view window pane.
explorer.exe /select,C:\                  open explorer with the root C:\My 
Computer selected.
explorer.exe /e,C:\My Documents         opens explorer under C:\My Documents 
expanded subfolders. In Windows 9x.
Explorer.exe /e,C:\Documents And Settings    Ditto under Windows XP.

Adobe Acrobat "hard codes" it to default to MyDocuments, so I created short cuts
there to quick go to where I want. Maybe the same thing could be done in order 
to
use explorer.exe the way you want... just a thought.
