Are you talking about free software Gary??? Well I think you get what you pay for. But that is MY opinion LOL

Changing the subject line.
I have AVG AV (free) installed and fully running. IT updates "almost" every day.

I have been getting e-mails with Virus's in them, (zip files of known bad
stuff),
but the AVG AV is not complaining at all...
It even tacks on the report that the e-mail was Virus free...
Of course I do NOT open or unzip those attachments, so I'm not sure what
might happen "next". AVG AV seems to be running as a proxy.
E-mail scanning is on fully. It says that in the AVG control panel...

I am starting to think I got what I paid for...
At least Norton warned me about EVERY bad thing that entered this machine...
I used to be an "Evanglist" for Norton, but tired of fixing other peoples
machines.
I never had a problem of my own. I am getting "great experience" on all sides of
this issue...

I just remembered something... This computer has never had ANYTHING
Norton. It is a perfect machine to try the Norton stuff I got last year, free
AMIR...
They are all "activate" versions and never used...
