when its fan freezes up or partially freezes up and hope you catch

that the video card burned out and in the process drew so much power
the power supply burned out. The only thing a video card with a
frozen or partially frozen fan will fit is a trash can, in my opinion.
I don't believe anyone has mentioned throwing out video cards. The
last I knew they were talking about whether it was worth oiling
squeaking fans or not. Apparently you don't build any machines with
$400 video cards & heck I wouldn't throw out a $200 video card unless
I absolutely have to. IMNSHO one could put a drop of oil on a fan
before it starts squeaking but I also concur that a fan that is a
squeaker is a goner.
