To get into BIOS setup you need a power supply, motherboard, processor, RAM
(any recognized amount), keyboard, video output (from video card or embedded
video), and monitor.

Subject: HARDware: Minimum Needed to Run

What are the minimum components needed to run a computer? i.e. do I need to
have RAM, and a hard drive? I am trying to troubleshoot a hardware problem,
but I need to know the minimum components I need to have to at least get to
a BIOS screen- I mean to enter setup in BIOS at start up.

TIA

Chris
