I can recommend this Webinar. Not the usual sales pitch for a particular
company. Very good information on the status of the standard and products.
The speaker is bullish and thinks it is unlikely that .11n radios purchased
now will not be firmware upgradable to the final standard, but of course, no
guarantees.

It's also a good tutorial on some of the more technical aspects of 11n, such
as consideration of the number of radios on the host and AP doing MIMO and
its effect on performance. Also what performance is being seen in the lab
for draft 2 products (100 mb/sec or better). Also a suggestion to deploy
11n only in the 5 GHz range and leave 2.4 to b/g.

The audio comes through computer, along with powerpoint slides. I felt like
it was time well spent

Dear Tom,

Thank you for attending AirWave¹s webcast Tuesday to hear Craig Mathias give
an update on 802.11n. We hope you found it fascinating.

I¹m writing about three matters.

1. Recording of the Webcast is Available: The recording of the event is
now available for you to view and/or download at the following link:

www.airwave.com/docs/whitepapers/Webcast-80211n-June-19-07.wmv
<http://www.airwave.com/docs/whitepapers/Webcast-80211n-June-19-07.wmv>

Please note:
* We find that people have the fewest problems viewing the recording if they
are using Version 10 of Windows Media Player
* When you open the link, it will start the webcast, and download in the
background
* To save the recording at any time during the playback, WMP has a drop-down
menu in the upper right hand corner: choose the ³File² option, and that will
take you to the option to ³Save.²
* If you have any difficulties accessing the recording, please contact me
and I will send you a copy its about 5MB.

2. Future Webcasts with Craig Mathias and AirWave: If you enjoyed Craig¹s
presentation, you will be interested to learn that we are planning another
three ³Ahead of the Curve² webcasts with him, and that you can register for
a season pass to all three by going to this page:
http://www.airwave.com/seminar/register?event_code=4494

3. PDF of the Slides: Finally, if you had any difficulty downloading a PDF
of Craig¹s slides and would like a copy, please let me know by return email
and I will send you one.

Thanks. If there is anything we could be of assistance on, please do not
hesitate to contact me!

Best regards,
