Junos is not Linux, but is a set of processes that run on top of a FreeBSD kernel. It's quite similar to IOS-XE in that regard, where the Cisco IOS process runs from within Linux. The Junos process 'rpd' is almost an operating system in itself - it has it's own scheduling and memory management and doesn't use the operating system for that. -Jonesy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WISPA Wants You!
