Sam,

I was a 13F20L7 (Joint Fires Observer) who was offered his E6's to stay 
in for another year or two. I passed.

I got far used to 120deg F temps though between living in Phoenix and 
also Iraq.

Somehow I ended up in Homer, Alaska :)
