That seems quite helpful (I can't really look at the sources now and I probably won't have much time before the weekend). I'm a bit torn between this idea and the other proposal to distinguish between ordinary windows and pagers. Right now it seems to me that the second proposal may be a bit easier to implement if it works that way, but as I wrote before I do not know enough about these things to come to a good conclusion.
